Growing Conditions

The 2020 growing season in Virginia offered a unique set of challenges and rewards for our Seyval Blanc grapes. A wet spring led to an initially slow start, but the subsequent warm, dry summer with cool nights allowed for steady ripening and excellent flavor development. The result was a harvest of Seyval Blanc grapes with a harmonious balance of sugar and acidity.
